Charming vintage small size Chad Valley teddy bear, dating from 1950s,
bearing original white blue printed side label,
made of gold mohair, stuffed with kapok and wood-wool throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
fully jointed,
original orange and black glass eyes,original black vertically stitched nose, inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original brown velvet pads in good condition with slight repair to the right paw top seam,
there’s no claws stitching,
has got inoperative squeaker in tummy.
Teddy Bear is approx. 11″ tall.
Condition – item is in original vintage condition with some general wear, thinning and balding spots (mainly to left leg and tip of right paw);
joints slightly loose, but still secure, head dropping to the right side. Generally, clean and solid.
