Sweet 1950’s Chad Valley mohair teddy bear with label.
Meet ‘Branston’ a sweet looking gold mohair Chad Valley mohair bear dating to circa 1950’s.Branston stands at 15″ tall and he is five ways jointed so he can be nicely posed and is stuffed withkapok in his body and wood wool in his head. ‘Branston has been loved but is still in good conditionwith all of his original features intact, including his amber and black glass eyes. He has a fairly goodcoverage of his golden mohair plush with some overall thinning and bare patches, mostly on his backand arms, but I would estimate he has retained approximately 70% coverage overall.
His rexine pads are excellent with very slight surface rubbing but no holes or repairs andhe has his Chad Valley label ‘By Royal Appointment to the Queen Mother’ which dates him topost 1953. Branston is sweet looking bear with a lovely expressive face and would makea nice addition to any hug.
This little Chad Valley character bear is being offered witha very low starting price and no reserve to the highest bidder.
