Wonderful vintage Chad valley teddy bear.Dating circa 1940-1950 with original faded blue label to his foot.I have enlarged the image and although faded I am 99.9% sure the it dates pre 1953 ” Toy makers to Her Majesty the Queen”Teddy measures 14″ and is five way jointed with all joints turning & firm.Head is filled with wood wool and else where is filled with mostly kapok with some wood wool.In op squeaker to tummy.Original glass eyes which are finished of at the back of the head.Original nose and mouth.Wonderful thick shiny mohair which overall is excellent with only very minor wear.Hand pads have been replaced in a sympathetic style which compliments the worn feet pads.As images show there is a tear in the right pad with kapok peeping through.Wonderful cheeky Chad character who displays well.From non smoking home.Any questions please ask..
