Very cute vintage old Chiltern Hugmee mohair teddy bear, dating from 1940s,
of gold mohair,
fully jointed,
feels to be stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
orange and black glass eyes,
pronounced muzzle,
vertically stitched nose,
inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original painted cloth pads in loved condition with general wear and small hole to the left paw pad,
three claws stitching to each limb,
inoperative cardboard growler.
Approx. 14″ (35 cm) tall.
Condition – teddy bear is in original vintage condition with some general wear, thinning; joints are fine.
