Vintage British Chiltern Hugmee character mohair teddy bear, dating from 1940s
made of gold mohair,
feels to be stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
has got original orange and black glass eyes,pronounced muzzle,
black vertically stitched nose, inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original painted cloth pads in loved condition with cracking and wear to paint,
original four claws stitching to limbs,
has got inoperative voice in a tummy.
Teddy Bear is approx. 23″ (58 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in vintage condition with general wear, thinning and balding patches.
