Antique British Chiltern Hugmee mohair teddy bear, dating from 1930s-1940s
made of gold mohair,
feels to be stuffed with kapok throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
fully jointed,
has got original orange and black glass eyes,pronounced muzzle,
black vertically stitched nose with outer stitches pointing up, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original cloth pads,
original four claws stitching to limbs, claws worn-out on the left paw,
has got inoperative squeaker in a tummy.
Teddy Bear is approx. 17″ (43 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in good antique condition with some general wear, thinning and balding spots.
