British Made Chiltern ‘HUGMEE’ Golden Mohair Bear c1930’s
Hard stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
His mohair is very sparse on his tummy and muzzle where he has been well cuddledOther areas have patches which are thinning and sparse Fully jointed, his arms and legs will move but are a little stiff, his head moves freely
Large brown/black glass eyesPronounced muzzle with repairs to his nose, original nose can just be seen but is covered with an old brown fabric cord oblong button now
Inverted Y shape mouth stitching, which has been lightly sewn over
Original linen cloth pads to feet, which are nearly threadbare but intact, his feet are soft, with no card inserts, which didn’t arrive until sometime in the 1930’sPaw pads are worn, one is actually through and has been hand stitched over
Four original claws remain to both paws and pads
Lightly pronounced round hump to back,Long thin arms which are skinny in places due to his stuffing moving about Inoperative tilt cardboard growler, not working
Wearing his hand sewn tie and hand knitted waistcoatTeddy Bear is approx. 18″ tall.He sits and poses nicely and is well behaved, and has a lot of charm for an ‘Old Boy’
