Lovely vintage panda made by Chiltern during the 1940s. Fully jointed – joints are rather loose.
Panda is made from a soft black and cream (cream is very grubby – needs a clean as looks more grey!) mohair or art silk mohair – unsure which.
Still has original brown/black glass eyes which are placed on black felt backs and has his original black stitched nose and mouth. He is stuffed with wood wool throughout and has a non working squeaker in his tummy. Stuffing is visible just above right paw pad where it joins his arm.
Measures approximately 15″ in height.
