A really sweet little Bear that has been very well loved
I believe he was made by Chiltern – although I did wonder if he was a Merrythought because of the stitching detail on his paw padsHe is probably 1950’s and is a very sturdy little ted – rare in this series zeHe has a covering of mohair – some thick and some thinner balder patches He has replacement amber glass eyes and measures 12Ted has had a number of repairs – some invisible and some clearly seen on his paw padsThey have original repaired felt on his hand pads and replacement on his feet padsHis nose stitching is original but some stitches are missingHe has a non- working squeaker in his tummy
