This very unusual panda nightdress case is made from cream and black mohair and is a very good condition for its age. It was made during the 1930s and I believe it to have been made either by Chad Valley or Chiltern. He measures approximately 22″ in length and approximately 10″ in height.
It is stuffed with wood wool, has unfortunately lost its glass eyes over time but does have a lovely moulded leather nose and black stitched mouth.
Unusually it has black leather pads with no holes or tears and the remains of stitched claws on each foot.
It is in overall very good condition – cream mohair could do with a clean.
