Very nice vintage Chiltern Hugmee Panda bear, dating from 1950s,
made of black and white mohair, stuffed with kapok and wood-wool throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
fully jointed,
original orange and black glass eyes on black felt,original black vertically stitched nose, inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original velvet pads in very good condition with minor soiling on the right paw,
four claws stitching to each limb, one claw loose on the right paw,
has got inoperative squeaker in tummy.
Panda is approx. 16″ tall.
Condition – item is in very good original vintage condition with very minor general wear, head joint slightly loose, but still secure, other joints are fine.
