Mr Sherbet – Gorgeous Button & Label Chad Valley Old Antique Teddy Bear – 1930s Mr Sherbet is a wonderful old English teddy bear made by Chad Valley – he’s one of the nicest teddies that we’ve had in a long time, he really is gorgeous. Having his original button and red foot label dates him to around the early 1930s and stands around 13 inches tall.Sherby is a beauty and will come wearing his vintage peach ribbon bow.He’s lost a little of his blonde mohair on his chest and head, but otherwise he’s clean, bright and covered in thick fluffy fur.He’s got all his original stitching, including coal nose, mouth and claws. His feet are card-lined and still have their original felt pads – one foot pad is split and both his hands have small holes in them but none of this really detracts from his cuteness – just look at those little amber & black glass eyes!Sherby no longer talks but I’m sure when you meet him, you’ll forgive him that – I can’t explain how lovely he is.All in all he’s a beautiful fluffy old bear who will steal the show in any hug.All offers considered and I always combine postage costs where applicable.
