Charming and pretty rare to find Chad Valley ISA elephant on springs, dating from 1930s, bearing original woven Chad Valley label,
made of blonde mohair,
feels to be hard stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
unjointed, in permanent standing position, has got springs in legs,
has got antique orange and black glass eyes, which are possibly replacement,felt replacement tusks,recovered felt pads,
original white red woven Chad Valley label stitched to the inner side of back legs.
Elephant is approx. 10″ tall and 14″ long.
Condition – in good antique condition with some general wear and thinning; has got balding patches to the left side of the body, couple small repairs to legs; generally – nice and solid.
