Elizabeth Blue: Beautiful Rare Old Antique Blue Mohair Farnell Teddy Bear -1930s Elizabeth Blue “Lizzy B” is a wonderful old English teddy bear made by Farnell. She dates to around the 1930s and stands around 18 inches tall.Lizzy B is a real gentry beauty and enjoys nothing more than ambling around the garden in her head scarf and knitwear.Lizzy has lost a lot of her mohair and has faded to white over time, but in patches she still retains her bright blue colour.She’s always been blessed with stunning looks and has faired very well over the years but she’s also paid for some “improvements” as well. She’s had work done to her voice, eyes and nose, her paws have been recovered and her stitching is new – all her repairs have been carried out by an expert restorer and would have cost a lot of money when done.She’s very talkative and her new squeaker works perfectly.All in all she’s a beautiful fully restored old bear looking for a new home where she can while away her days.All offers considered and I always combine postage costs where applicable.
