This very handsome, old non jointed toy dog was made by Chad Valley, probably late 1920’s, early 1930’s.
He has come to me together with a group of other old toys, all dating from around this era.
I have hand cleaned his coat, so he is lovely and soft to touch and is ready to display.
He has his original glass eyes and the typical Chad black coal shaped stitch nose.
He also has the red Chad label stitched to his inner back leg.
This is quite a large sized toy dog, so I think he is a perfect prop for displaying a favourite old teddy bear.
