This rather glum looking 18″ golden mohair Chiltern teddy bear was probably made in the 1930s.
He has the lovely long limbs, with velvet spoon shaped paw pads and card lined feet of Chiltern bears from this era, plus he is made from a very good quality mohair.
There are a number of amateur repairs, but his mohair coverage is good – with some patchy places of wear, mainly to the arms and sides of his legs. I have provided quite a detailed condition report, plus there are photographs showing the most obvious defects, so please do take time to view all of the pictures and to read the item details/condition report, prior to bidding.Postage is 5 to any mainland UK address and about 20 to any international destination.
