early and unusual vintage clockwork Teddy Bear with lead feet – probably Bing This is an early and unusual vintage clockwork Teddy Bear, probably made by Bing. the teddy bear is very early, having boot button eyes and made of gold mohair with felt pads. the bear’s legs are metal rods with lead feet, which wiggle from side to side when the clockwork is wound. he stands 22 cms tall or 8 and a half inches. the clockwork mechanism is worked by a fixed key in his back. the mechanism still works but needs a bit of attention. We are happy to post worldwide, but please wait for an invoice, as the price will determine whether a lot is sent regular airmail or tracked. All items are sent using good quality strong boxes, with clean tissue, bubble wrap and chippings. We spend a lot of time ensuring your parcel will arrive safely, we often double pack.
