The most beautiful Edwardian baby dress – probably made for a Christening. It is made from white cotton – the bodice is a finer lawn cotton. The detailing is beautiful – I have taken lots of pictures so you can see for yourself – and there is just so much fabric – it displays wonderfully. It measures 27 inches long by 11 inches underarm to underarm and it fastens with tiny hook and eye fasteners to the back which I think were put on at a later date. The dress is selling in lovely condition – clean and fresh with no holes or tears. The ribbons to the sleeves are held on by just a few threads but this is easily remedied – otherwise there are no issues. This dress is shown on my portly 20 inch bear – ideal on bears of around this size. A beautiful piece which any collector would love xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
