Henry & Elsa – Daddy & Baby – Merrythought Lion Pyjama Case & Cub – Old Antique Teddy Bear Pal
Looking for a new home are these lovely two. Both are very likely made by Merrythought and date to the 1930’s.They are both covered in mohair with facial stitching, claw stitching and painted back glass eyes.
Daddy Henry is a Pyjama case – Merrythought specialised in cases, although Lions are more rare, he has a zip fastening with a blue satin cotton lining. He is stuffed with woodwool and is around 16.5inches long (excluding his tail).
Baby Elsa is also fully stuffed with woodwool and is around 5.5inches tall in a seated position.
They like to spend their days snuggled on a bed and are looking for a new owner and new home to enjoy.
I’m more than happy to send a video over if requested, and I always combine postage costs.
