A very endearing Steiff Treff dog with earbutton c.1930s. Treff is all original with a swivel head, and lovely large, soulful back-painted glass eyes. He measures 23 cms (9″) high in his fixed sitting position, and similar size lengthways. He’s woodwool-stuffed, and has a black-stitched nose and a full set of claws.
There’s airbrushed detailing around his eyes, muzzle and mouth, and his forelegs are internally wired. He has a squeaker that no longer works. Although his mohair is now sparse in areas, he still has a reasonable amount, and is a really lovable bloodhound, wearing his old knitted hat with badge.
Steiff first introduced Treff in 1928 and he was made for only 10 years. Thanks for looking x
