early vintage mohair and felt Bumble Bee with wings – probably Chad Valley. This is an early vintage Bumble Bee, made of black and yellow mohair with felt hands, face and ears. this is an amazing toy, probably Chad Valley with a clever face and early glass eyes. we date this to the 1930’s. he has gauze and wire wings on his back. the bumble bee measures around 32 cms tall or just over 12 inches. it is in very nice condition for age, his face is unfaded, the only wear is to the gauze wings, which are quite fragile. a lovely toy. .
