Blanche is a lovely old Chad Valley bear – she has the blue print label on her foot which dates her post 1953 – and she is such a cuddly old girl. She is 15 inches tall and fully jointed with a very clunky growler in her tummy – she no longer growls…..just clunks :-). She is a mix of straw and kapok stuffed and has a plush covering – not mohair. She has sustained some damage to the back of her head as can be seen hence her lovely knitted jacket and bonnet – they keep her well protected and cover a multitude of sins. Blanche is a lovely old girl now in need of her forever home xxxxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
