Jimmy is quite a character made by Bing c1920 measuring approx. 16″ with his original nose stitching, claw stitching and glass eyes. He retains around 40% of his short mohair, is solidly stuffed with wood wool and has a growler that works slightly if shaken hard. He has the seams up the back of the legs which is a Bing characteristic and a typically Bing look. One ear seems slightly smaller than the other as if a child chewed it and was then repaired and the other looks as if it has had a nibble out of it also. All pads have been recovered long ago with possibly the original felt underneath.
Bing were in constant competition with Steiff throughout their short production period and made similarly quality products but sadly ceased trading in 1932.
