Pretty and unusual mould China head doll from the 1860s or 70s. NOT PERFECT. She is 12 inches tall, she has a china head with a moulded snood and flowers at the sides of her head, the flowers have never been painted. Her features are hand painted, there is a fine hair line crack on one side of the face from the hair line to neck and there are two areas of firing flaws one on each side of the shoulder plate – all shown in the photos. Her body is stuffed fabric with china lower limbs, her arms have no damage that I can see – the legs both have the foot broken off. Sher is wearing her original pink and white striped dress and apron.
