Herbert is a superb fine quality antique Bing teddy bear c1930 measuring an impressive 24″ with no less than 95% of his long blonde mohair remaining. Herbert has a partially working growler and is solidly stuffed with wood-wool. He has the seams up the back of his legs and his felt paws and pads are original and in superb condition. He has the most endearing large glass eyes with a very gentle expression.
Bing were in constant competition with Steiff throughout their short production period. Sadly Bing ceased trading in 1932. Herbert is one of the last bears to be made by Bing.
