Maisie Pre WW1 Farnell teddy bear
Wonderful early pre WW1 Farnell teddy bear c1912 with those very distinctive webbed pads measuring approx. 16″ with remains of her original nose stitching and her original 5 webbed hand claws in superb condition. Maisie is a fine example of an early Farnell teddy bear with around 85% of her blonde mohair remaining ( once golden). One foot pad is totally original the other has small repairs to the felt. She has replaced painted back eyes which are correct for the period and like most early farnell teds Maisie has card lined feet. Her growler is now non working and makes the unmistakable clunking sound when she’s shaken. Maisie comes with her striped dress and M letter pin.
