Growler..An early Farnell teddy bear.Dating circa 1908.Measuring 25″ from pads to tip of head.Five way jointed and all joints turn and are firm.When Growler was found he had many problems and issues and these have been resolved with a very talented young lady.Marie Worgan at Bearing it all.Restoration includes replaced nose,mouth and nose stitching.A replaced ear,pads and other smaller repairs.Most claw stitching is original and intact.Some original pads remain under the replaced felt.Amazingly his original bakerlite growler has been repaired and is working well.Teddy came with his leather collar which is very possibly original and reads “Growler born 1908″As images show there is still a good amount of light golden mohair with some areas of wear including his legs and large feet.Wonderful character who will hopefully find his forever home.From smoke free home.Any questions please ask..Kindly note, due to weight and packing shipping is for U.K only.
