Vintage old Pedigree Teddy Bear. With working growler and remains of original label/Orange and black glass eyes. Short thick light golden mohair.Approx 14 ” high.Made c1950’s.Jointed head, arms and legs. Velvet pads.Overall excellent condition. Minor loss of mohair. Lovelyold 14″ Pedigree teddy bear. With a working growler and the remains of original Pedigree MADE IN ENGLAND label. c1950’s I believe. In very good condition for age.
Orange and black glass eyes. Black horizontally stitched nose with “T” shaped stitched mouth.
Good covering of short, thick, pale golden mohair. Some loss in places. In particular to one paw, and slight loss to tummy.
Jointed head, arms and legs.
Velvet paws, slightly thining in places. No claws.
Head, arms and legs feel like they are stuffed with kapok. Head sound’s crunchy so I think that’s stuffed with wood wool.
LOUD working growler in back. You can see and feel the large round outline of the growler in the lower half of his back. You can also see were the seam in his back has been hand stitched.
Remain’s of blue and white Pedigree MADE IN ENGLAND label to base of back. Which I believe dates this bear to before 1955 as production then moved to Northern Ireland.
Approximately 14 inches in height. Unpacked weight is 420g.
