Meet Barry, a darling, fully jointed, mohair Chilltern bear dating to the 1930s. He is an impressive 21″ tall, with his original, glass, painted back eyes and hand stitched nose with the trademark Chiltern upstitching at each side. He is straw filled with a fully working deep growler, and retains all of his original pads and claw and foot stitching. He retains a good 90% of his mohair which is still beautifully bright on his body and legs, a little more faded on his arms and head so has probably been dressed most of his life. His only flaws are a 1cm hole to the mohair on the left side of his chest and a little wear to his paw pads (see photos). He comes wearing his snazzy bed jacket. He is in excellent clean and sweet smelling condition and would make a lovely addition to any old bear collection.
