Tedward – 1930’s Art Silk Fadap French Teddy ~ Big 24inch Old Antique Bear
Ahh handsome Tedward! He’s a beautiful boy. He dates to the 1930’s and is French! He was made by the bear maker Fadap. He stands around 24inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed with woodwool. He has what a would call a quiet stubborn growler – I think he’s on the cusp of finding his voice properly again but needs some dancing around the room to wake him up! Tedward is a special ted as he’s covered in art silk! His pads have been recovered due to too much rock climbing his youth, but he retains his original facial stitching and has glass eyes.He’s a very handsome boy and has a cute shape to him (nice muzzle and tubby chest), he also likes to stand briefly when posed (cute!). Tedwards favourite activities are (as mentioned) rock climbing, hand stands and playing in the garden. He now feels though that its time to make more memories and is looking for a special owner He will travel to his new home in his vintage knits ready to find a place to sit.
