Very unusual and rare example of a early teddy bear c. 1920/1930s, possibly by Fadap or Steiff?? Clear glass eyes with paints backs, eyes are slightly different sizes. Black stitched nose with longer, downward facing outer stitches.Very long arms, with a small hump and remains of black claws. I think it is made from artsilk, or very short pile mohair. In need of a clean.Cardboard inserts in large feet, bear can stand on own. Fully jointed and wood wool filled throughout, in need of some tlc.Please see photos for condition.
