This is a rather tatty old teddy dating to the 1930’s . He is a Merrythought bear with the celluloid button with the wishbone on it.
He is in need of restoration, as both his foot pads have gone, causing him to need more kapok stuffing and new felt pads.
He has the remnants of the webbed claw stitching on one hand.
He does however have his original , rather bulbous glass eyes, and original nose and mouth stitching.
He is 5 way jointed and all his joints are firm, and work well.
As you can see he has lost a lot of his mohair, especially on his torso. Not a lot can be done about that I know, but a little coat or jumper can work wonders!
