Miles is a very special and extremely handsome large antique Merrythought bear with early Merrythought “Wishbone” button to left ear and “Merrythought – Hygienic Toys – Made in England” label to foot.
Dating to the 1930s, Miles is 23 inches in height with lovely big amber/black glass eyes, “drop corner” nose/mouth stitching, strong original cloth pads and all his webbed claws too!!.
Miles has areas of mohair loss as to be expected from such an old timer.
Joints mostly all good (legs just tiny bit swingy).
Miles has non working growler in his tummy.
A fabulous early Merrythought bear with such endearing traditional character about him!.
