Little Vintage Toffee bear made by Chad Valley circa 1953 .
This little bear is super cute and is in loved aged condition.
He is approx 10 inches tall, fully jointed, glass eyes ,thread coal shaped nose and thread mouth.He has a non working squeaker in his tum.His pads are rexine and worn, one paw pad has worn through to show straw filling at the tip.One foot pad also has worn thin to expose straw , the other is ok this has the small remains of the Chad valley label.He is without original hat and scarf , however he does wear a red knitted scarf which my daughter made for him when she was young and learning to knit.so he will come with that.
He has a fairish covering of mohair , balding to one particular side of face.
Toffee Bears were made by Chad Valley and Farnell. , he is based on a Character from the radio programme Listen with mother.
This little Toffee bear has lived with me for many years in a smokefree home.
