As you can see, this beautiful 10/26cms antique/vintage English Chad Valley Toffee Teddy bear has been loved, hugged and played with over the years, and now has some obvious flaws and imperfections, so please take time to view all of the photographs as these will be the most helpful part of the item description/condition report, but please do read the detailed written condition report too.
This teddy is filled with straw throughout. There is a growler mechanism which does not work.
Teddy has a vertical black embroidered nose.
His paw pads are made from rexine (original).
He is 5 way fully jointed and working well.
His eyes are glass amber/black.
Teddy does have a label (see photo No 4). Toffee teddy had his own show back in the 1950s
Please note that the auction includes the knitted hat ( which I do not think is original) he is seen wearing in a selection of these pictures.
