Rare small size padless Chad Valley bear dating to the 1930’s. 8″ tall.
This lovely little Chad Valley bear is rare in this small size and is just 8″ tall and dates
to the 1930’s He is completely stuffed with kapok apart from a little wood wool in his muzzle
and is five ways jointed with all his joints working well. He is in remarkably good condition
considering his age and has a good 95% coverage of his pale straw coloured mohair with just
slight overall thinning and some small bare spots. He is a padless bear with no claw stitches
and apart from half a missing mouth and some missing nose stitches, he has retained all his
original features, including his amber and black glass eyes. There is a blue label on the inside
of his left leg which reads ‘HYGENIC TOY MADE IN ENGLAND BY CHAD VALLEY CO. LTD’
This lovely little Chad Valley bear is being offered
