1930’s Chiltern teddy bear or possibly Farnell?
This lovely looking teddy bear dates to circa 1930’s and is 15″ tall and is
five ways jointed with all his joints working well. I am not positive
about his manufacturer but I think he is probably a Chiltern bear that has
a Farnell look about him and he is a very handsome bear.
He is completely stuffed with wood wool in his body and head and although
he has been loved, he is still in good condition with all his original features
intact and a 85%+ coverage of his pale gold mohair with some overall thinning
and a couple of small bare spots.
His soft cotton pads are in generally very good condition with just one tiny hole
by his left paw but no other damage and he has three claw stitches on each paw
and both feet with a working tilt growler and all his original features intact.
He has a very endearing gentle smiley expression and he would make
a lovely addition to any hug.
This lovely 1930’s mohair bear is being offered
with a very reasonable ‘buy it now price’ but
as ever, I am open to all sensible offers.
