This is a large version of a rare Chad Valley teddy bearthat was made during the 1930s.He measures approximately 21 in height and is stuffed with amixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing. As you can see from the photos, he is in needof some tlc, but once restored will make a lovely old ted!!He does not have much of his original gold coloured mohairremaining nowadays and has been repaired in several places over the years(please see photos for condition). Hedoes not have any eyes anymore, and has a black stitched nose and mouth notsure if original. He has the remains of his black stitched claws and two ofhis brown material pads have been replaced. He does still have his red stitched 1930s Chad Valley label on his leftfoot.Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
