Very cute and pretty rare to find vintage Chad Valley Toffee mohair teddy bear, dating from c.1953,bearing original Royal Warranty label to the left foot pad,
made of pale gold mohair,
feels to be stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
has got original orange and black glass eyes,original vertically stitched nose, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original rexine type pads to all limbs with some general wear,
no claws stitching,
has got inoperative squeaker in his tummy, wears hand knitter red wool hat and scarf.
Teddy Bear is approx. 10″ (25 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in good vintage condition with some general wear and thinning.
