For sale is a ANTIQUE 1950’s CHAD VALLEY “TOFFEE” MOHAIR TEDDY
Meet Toffee a 1950’s Chad Valley mohair Teddy Bear.
In the 1950 – 1960’s this guy had his own show on TV.
He is toffee colored mohair and stuffed with Straw throughout.
He has black/amber glass eyes and a black stitched nose and mouth.
His paw pads are made from rexine (original).
He has no label.
He is fully jointed and work well.
He has a squeaker which does not work.
He is approx 23cms (9″) high.
He is wearing his original bobble burgundy wooly hat but not sure if the wooly scarf is original.
Considering his age he has 90% fur coverage.
It is in good vintage condition.
