This lovely old cat was made by Farnell during the 1930s and sits at approximately 13″ in height.
Still has his original gorgeous piercing green glass eyes, with original pink stitched nose and mouth on a shaved muzzle. Has a jointed neck.
He is made from a thick curly brownish fawn mohair – very faded nowadays, especially on his back – afraid photos have not come out very well, actually more colour on front and underneath – hard to describe colour nowadays – possibly originally pink??
Music box works 85% of the time – plays “Rock-a-bye-Baby”.
