Antique/Vintage Extra large 17 inch Hermann Teddy Bear
Welcome to my auction I specialise in original vintage bears in the best possible condition, so the more discerning collectors can source genuine old bears that they will be proud to own.
I have been working with bears for 40 years now, so any purchase you make from me can be done with the greatest of confidence – I have many very happy customers, many of whom are repeat buyers who appreciate the quality and integrity in my listings!
I particularly specialise in Steiff, Chiltern and musical bears but I also have other bears when I can source examples of the required quality.

This is a very handsome large Hermann German made mohair Teddy Bear dating back to 1950s
He measures 17inches standing, 12 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout he is kapok and straw filled.
Teddy comes from a pet free and smoke free home .
He is made from a top quality grade of mohair which has a chocolate brown backing then gorgeous frosted tips mohair coverage is 99% (please see photos to evaluate).
Teddy is fully jointed – all joints are in good working order – there are no rips or tears to the mohair fabric.
He or she has the most handsome face with stunning original glass eyes and original brown nose. his open mouth is in excellent condition as you can see
Teddy’s paw and foot pads are all original and are made from felt – they are all in great condition
These bear hardly ever come up for sale in this size ,so grab him while you can there are a lot of the small ones about but the bear in this size is just heavenly
