A fabulous, rare Chiltern Skater Teddy Bear from the 1930s, with golden silk plush head, hands, lower body and legs, ‘wearing’ a pink mohair integral jacket with large white/cream mohair collar. This pretty young lady has wired arms, velvet hand pads, felt card lined feet pads with label on foot and some original claw stitching, and,is stuffed with straw and kapok. She has beautiful and original glass eyes with painted pink backs and her pronounced muzzle has original nose and mouth stitching, giving her a charming gentle expression. In very good condition, with just some age-consistent wear to fur in a few places and some wear to left foot pad, she is clean and from a smoke-free home.
