Charming pretty rare to find early Pedigree mohair teddy bear, bearing original woven ‘Made in England’ label, dating from 1930s
made of golden mohair,
feels to be stuffed with kapok throughout the body and head, wood-wool in the muzzle,
fully jointed,
has got orange and black glass eyes,pronounced muzzle,
black vertically stitched nose with nostrils, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original velvet pads in good condition with some general wear,
no claws stitching,
original woven label stitched into back seam.
Teddy Bear is approx. 16″ tall.
Condition – item is in good antique condition with some general wear and thinning, joints are fine, minor repair to nose stitching.
