Here is a sweet and fine example of the Steiff burlap bear on iron wheels. From the early 1900s, these bears are hard to find, especially in the burlap fabric and even harder to find with their FF Steiff button in ear. He is in good strong condition, with some patched repairs to the fabric consistent with his great age of more than 100 years old. Measuring 12″ in length and 10″ tall, he has all original features, including boot-button eyes, nose and mouth stitching and importantly that original FF button! His wheels are in great condition too which is also hard to find and he has claw stitching on all feet. With a strong head joint, he is firmly stuffed with straw throughout with a lovely shape including hump and cute little tail. He is nice and clean and from a smoke-free home.
