~ Percy – Endearing Rare BLUE 1920’s Farnell Mohair Teddy Bear Antique Old English
Introducing Percy Blue! He’s a little endearing Farnell Ted in a super rare shade of blue :-)
He stands around 13.5 inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed with woodwool and kapok with stitched facial features and original painted back glass eyes. His paw pads have been recovered superbly well in a cotton flannelette material. Percy is a lovely little character and also sports an excellent hump for such a dinky ted.
He has had some darning to his face by a previous owner , and was clearly adored!
He dates to the 1920’s. As mentioned he has blue tufty mohair, and although he has lost some .. he does retain lovely thick tufty wavy parts and he’s just so endearing with it and a lovely ted who’s almost a century old!
Percy-Blue is now just really patiently waiting for a happy smiley person to give him a little space in their home, so he can keep plodding on for many years to some.
He will travel to his new home in his custom little vintage coat a previous owner provided for him (i’m guessing probably around the same time his pads were done likely in the 1940’s/50’s).

All offers considered and I always combine postage costs where applicable. Any questions please message me :-) I have lots of other bears etc for sale and many more to still list.Check out my other itemsIf you have any questions, or would like more information, photos or videos (as photos never do justice) please contact me using the  Business Seller Information at the bottom of the page.
