Sold as found in recent house clearance, 2 old teddy bears. Darker bear is articulated with straw filled body, she is very tatty around the edges, well played with I think is the best way to describe her (please see photos), rubbed fur and missing her nose. Needs TLC…..Dark brown bear is being sold together with her friend the gold coloured bear as they seem to be such good friends. Found together in an old suitcase with some other old junk They just need a nice new home and some TLC.
They both have moveable limbs, the golden coloured bear is in better condition than the smaller brown one (please see photos), poor brown one has lost her nose and is very well rubbed and rather floppy in places…. but she still looks quite cute and loveable. The lighter bear is fairly heavy and feels harder-boded, wood-straw filled? I am not an expert on bears so please study the photos and ask any questions you may have. Date from around 1950’s / 1940’s we think.
Darker one, as mentioned above, is quite rubbed / playworn, bit floppy but very sweet looking as you can see from the photos! The bigger golden coloured bear is in fair vintage condition.
The bears are 16″ tall and 12″ tall.
