Moving to smaller premises so bargains to be had!!
Here we have Vic and Bob, a delightful pair of comical bears made in the 1960s by Chiltern, just after they were taken over by Chad Valley. Both are 12″ tall with vinyl faces and soles of feet, and have wired arms and legs enabling them to be posed.
Vic is the brown bear, made in a brown plush, versions of which have sometimes featured on ebay wearing dungarees and carrying a guitar, a sort of hillbilly bear. Bob is the far rarer mouse version, in pink plush with round floppy ears. I have never seen this version ever on ebay.
They are in very good, clean, fresh smelling and virtually unplayed with condition, and they display beautifully with other old bears.
