Selling off the relics of my childhood! two bears:
larger one 26 inches (ish) in height, belonged to my mum (born 1936) not sure if it was bought specifically for her or passed down from previous relative) – she then passed it on to me. Hinged shoulders and hips. Brand unknown – no makers mark or identifying tags that I can see (but then I don;t really know what I’m looking for). Eyes have been removed (by my mum, for reasons she only knew) and since lost. Has a ‘growler’ but it no longer works. Other than that, in excellent condition, considering age!
smaller bear, 13 inches (ish) – musical: winds up and plays classic piece (not sure what) – still in working order. Hinged shoulders and hips. Brand unknown – no makers mark or tag to identify, as far as I can see (but, again, I do not really know what to look for). Some wear to bottom right foot pad, but other than that in very good condition.
Selling as a pair because they have ‘lived’ together for so many years (I am myself now fifty and these bears have both been always there, together).
Postage will be included in the price, and will be sent 2nd class signed for.
