Old Antique Vintage Large Tatty Teddy BearFlora is a dear old tatty vintage antique teddy bear who is a big girl at 24 inches tall, and 16 inches seated. She has a sweet face and a lovely smile. She is a Sooty type teddy bear and probably dates back to the 1950s or 60s. Flora has amber and black glass eyes and a hand stitched nose and mouth. She is firmly straw filled throughout, although it has broken down just a little in places as may be expected. She is five way jointed , though her head and arm joints are a bit stiff (especially her left arm) and her left leg joint is looser than it used to be and hangs just a bit.Flora has a thin covering of cotton plush which is aged overall and patchy around the ears. She has lost her golden colouring for the most part (though her right arm still has the remains of her original colour); and is mostly a light biscuit colour these days, poor old dear ! She has some light age related surface marks also.Her paws are made of black cotton plush, which match her ears, though the paws are in a bit better condition. She has a tilt growler in her belly which works most of the time, and is a high pitched squeak.So if you are a lover of the old and tatty vintage teddy bears, with bags of charm, then maybe you can give Flora her new home.She is no longer suitable as a toy.
